Commissions

Commissioning an oil painting is easy and straight forward.

Simply follow the 4 Steps below and you could be the owner of a very personal Vanessa Jayne original:-

STEP 1 - How much does it cost?
I need to take into account how many subjects are in the painting, what background, medium and size. However, as a guide, my prices start at £150 for a 12" x 16" framed drawing and £350 for a 12" x 16" framed oil painting.

If you have a specific budget to work to, let me know, I'm sure we can work something out.

STEP 2 - Source material
All I need is a selection of good photos. The more details I can see in the photo, the more I can put in the painting. My paintings are very life-like and include lots and lots of detail.

Anything you are unsure of I am very happy to help.

Once I have the photos I will clarify you exact requirements (i.e. collar/bridle - on/off, etc.)

I will the give you an exact quote.

All prices include beautiful, professionslly made frames and mounts, so your painting is ready to hang when you get it home.

STEP 3 - The work starts
If you are happy with the price then I will need a small deposit to secure a place in my work schedule and allow me to spend time on preperation. I will also give you an indication of when your piece will be ready.

STEP 4 - Collect your painting or drawing
Once your painting or drawing is completed I will contact you to arrange collection at which time final payment will be due.

Take your piece home, hang it and then above all else ENJOY IT!

I can work from a good quality photograph to produce a range of sizes in a variety of mediums to suit your budget. I treat each commission with sincerity and integrity.

Each piece is lovingly painted using only top quality materials.
